In this webinar Joseph Spinazzola addresses the lack of consensus on what are the most effective treatments for children with complex trauma. Rather than focusing on specific treatments, the emphasis has shifted to looking at the components of effective treatment for this population. Dr. Spinazzola addresses these components--including safety, self-regulation, relational engagement and attachment, information processing, positive affect, and the integration of traumatic experience--and how they inform treatment planning.
