How do I obtain CE credit for a presentation?
Continuing education credits (CEs) are available for many of the webinars and courses on the NCTSN Learning Center. Number of available CEs will be mentioned on the certificates for the courses/webinars that offer CEs.

CE credit requirements and acceptance vary state by state. Your state licensing board can provide you with the most recent information.
Please check with your state licensing board to determine if independent study programs (webinars/courses offered by NCTSN) may be used to meet their mandatory CE requirements for your case.
Please Note: NCTSN does not sent certificates, transcripts or any other individual CE related information to any licensing boards or third party organizations. Learners can reach out to their own licensing boards to determine how they can utilize CEs they have earned from courses and webinars on NCTSN Learning Center.

National Center for Child Traumatic Stress has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7218. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. National Center for Child Traumatic Stress is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Generated certificates will display number of NBCC Clock Hours offered for the webinar/course. APA Provider #1829
The National Center for Child Traumatic Stress is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The National Center for Child Traumatic Stress maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
NASW:
There have been changes to the way the NASW categorizes webinars for continuing education credit. Due to this change NCTSN Continuing Education individual webinars are no longer approved by the National Association of Social Workers for continuing education contact hours.
Currently three courses on the Learning Center are
approved by NASW for continuing education contact hours:
Psychological First Aid (PFA) Online, Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) Online, and Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT). For these courses NASW CE approval information will be mentioned on the generated certificates.NCTSN Learning Center
