In this presentation Col. Kris Peterson discusses military culture and the unique stressors faced by military families. The speaker addresses the complications of post-deployment when there is illness or injury, as well as the impact of deployment on young children. Two army programs developed to improve services to deployed families are also discussed: Child, Adolescent and Family Behavioral Health Proponency (CAF BHP) and the Child and Family Assistance Center (CAFAC).
